IDEA Show Us a Better Way

The Air Force is constantly seeking new and better ways of doing business.
The IDEA Program offers a way for everyone to contribute ideas on how to do things more efficiently and effectively. An IDEA is a constructive idea submitted by any individual or a group. This idea will accomplish an Air Force or Government job  better, faster, or cheaper. The proposal must have sufficient potential to warrant the cost of implementation and must include a detailed description of how the change is to be accomplished.

In most cases, an IDEA should do one or more of the following:
Save money/Modify a process or equipment/Increase efficiency/Eliminate waste/Avoid cost/Reduce cost/Improve a process Substitute

(The IDEA Program Data System (IPDS)) allows IDEA submitters, supervisors, and evaluators to access the system via the Internet and input data directly from their work center computers. All Ideas MUST be processed through IPDS.
