PET TIP- A common tree located in Okinawa is very poisonous to dogs. The tree is a cycad tree commonly known as a Sago palm and looks like a small palm tree with a large cone in the center. The cone produces white nuts covered in a bright orange shell. These seeds are highly toxic. They cause neurologic signs and have a high fatality rate. Please keep these seeds away from your pets! |
