Kadena Tennis Center

Tennis lovers have plenty of opportunities to hit the courts on Kadena. The Kadena Tennis Center offers instruction and tournaments. We have 11 tennis courts 6 of which are lighted. We offer private and group lessons for players of all skill levels. Call the Kadena Tennis Center to arrange a session that is right for you.


Summer Tennis Clinics Ages 5 and up Registration began 1 June $75 • 10 one-hour lessons (Monday - Friday) Class times: 9 am, 10 am, 11 am, 4 pm, 5 pm, or 6 pm Session I • 5 - 16 July Session II • 19 - 30 July Session III • 2 - 13 August Please wear tennis shoes and a hat, and bring plenty of water. Tennis racquets are available during your lesson, or are available for purchase inside the Risner Sports Pro Shop.	2010 Tournament Schedule

Monthly Group Tennis Lessons Mondays, Thursdays, or Fridays 9 am, 10 am, 11 am, 3 pm, 4 pm, or 5 pm Sign up for the day and time most convenient for you! $35 • Four hourly lessons per adult $30 • Four hourly lessons per child Registrations will be held on the 15th of each month. Kadena tennis team captures 2008 Okinawan championship 4/9/2008 - The Kadena tennis team poses after winning the Okinawa Team Championship Tennis Tournament in Naha April 5. The Kadena tennis team has won the title for three consecutive years. The team consists of six Japanese employees who work at Kadena. Entry fee is $20 per person.

Racquet Services
You can have your tennis and racquetball racquets restrung for a fee of $8 plus the price of string.

Ball Machine Rental
The ball machine is available for your daily practice. Rental fee is $5 per hour and includes tennis balls and racquets.

The Risner Sports Pro Shop carries a wide selection of fitness, running, basketball, softball, football, soccer, cycling, racquetball, and tennis gear. No matter what your favorite sport, you will find the gear you need!
